These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of our services and apply to all enquiries, quotations, purchases, supply-only orders, installation projects and interactions with our business.
By requesting quotations, placing orders or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services Provided
Yorkshire Heritage Windows provides bespoke window and door solutions throughout the United Kingdom.
We offer two service options:
Supply Only
Supply of made-to-measure windows, doors and associated products delivered to your specified address.
Supply & Installation
Supply together with professional installation services carried out by our trained installation teams.
Installation services are currently offered within Yorkshire only. Supply-only services may be available nationally.
All products are manufactured to customer specifications and are considered bespoke items.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring all information supplied is accurate.
For supply-only orders, customers remain responsible for:
Measurements
Sizes and dimensions
Product specifications
Opening configurations
Product selections
Yorkshire Heritage Windows cannot accept liability for errors arising from incorrect measurements or information provided by customers.
If assistance is required with measurements or specifications, customers should contact us before placing an order.
For installation projects, customers agree to:
Provide safe access to the property
Ensure installation areas are reasonably clear and accessible
Notify us of any known issues affecting installation
Provide suitable access during agreed appointment times
Customers remain responsible for obtaining any required planning permissions, listed building consent or conservation approvals where applicable.
We may provide guidance but cannot guarantee approvals.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices will be clearly communicated before order confirmation.
Manufacturing will not begin until payment arrangements have been agreed.
Where applicable:
Full payment may be required prior to manufacture
Deposits may be requested
Staged payments may apply for larger projects
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed within quotations, invoices or order documents.
All quotations remain subject to confirmation.
5. Delivery
Estimated delivery times will be provided where possible following order confirmation.
Delivery dates are estimates only and may occasionally change due to circumstances outside our control.
Examples include:
Supplier delays
Manufacturing lead times
Material shortages
Transport disruption
Weather conditions
Customers must ensure suitable arrangements are made to receive deliveries at the agreed location.
Risk in supplied goods passes upon delivery.
6. Installation Services
For installation projects, works will be scheduled once products are ready.
Customers agree to provide access at agreed times.
While reasonable care is taken to minimise disruption, installation works may involve:
Noise
Dust
Temporary access restrictions
Removal of existing products
Yorkshire Heritage Windows will take reasonable steps to maintain cleanliness and protect working areas throughout the installation process.
7. Cancellations & Returns
As all products are bespoke and manufactured specifically to customer requirements, orders cannot normally be cancelled once production has begun.
Returns will only be considered where:
Products arrive damaged
Products are faulty
Products materially differ from agreed specifications
Customers should notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide supporting photographs where possible.
This does not affect statutory rights.
8. Warranty
Products supplied by Yorkshire Heritage Windows are covered by applicable manufacturer warranties relating to material or workmanship defects.
Warranty details will be supplied within quotations, order documents or completion documentation where applicable.
Warranty exclusions include:
Damage caused by misuse
Improper maintenance
General wear and tear
Accidental damage
Third-party modifications
Structural movement
Incorrect installation by third parties on supply-only projects
Customers should follow any maintenance guidance provided.
9. Limitation Of Liability
Yorkshire Heritage Windows shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services.
Our total liability relating to any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful.
10. Ownership Of Goods
Ownership of supplied goods remains with Yorkshire Heritage Windows Ltd until payment has been received in full.
Risk passes to the customer upon delivery or completion of installation where applicable.
11. Intellectual Property
All branding, content, images, designs, brochures, website material and intellectual property used by Yorkshire Heritage Windows remain our property unless otherwise stated.
No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed or reused without prior written consent.
12. Data Protection
We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.
Information relating to enquiries, quotations, consultations and customer projects may be stored and processed for business purposes.

13. Force Majeure
Yorkshire Heritage Windows shall not be liable for delays, disruption or inability to fulfil obligations resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Examples include:
Weather events
Supply chain disruption
Material shortages
Transport issues
Utility failures
Industrial action
Government restrictions
Events affecting manufacturing or logistics
Where possible we will communicate any delays promptly.
14. Changes To These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms periodically.
Updated versions will be published on our website together with the revised effective date.
Continued use of our services following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in relation to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
